Completed a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance at l’Université de Montréal in 1999, after studying piano and voice at l’Université Laval and at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Winner of the Debut Young Concert Artists Competition, semi-finalist for the Joseph-Rouleau Award, and national finalist in her category in the Canadian Music Competition, Léna also appeared as soloist with various orchestras and ensembles and as a guest at the George Weston Recital Hall, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Isabel Bader Theatre, only to name a few. Her operatic performances include Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande and Mozart’s Don Giovanni. She made her first television appearance in 1998 in Montreal.

He has been playing and teaching music professionally for more that 10 years. Throughout the years Max has been quite busy as a freelance drummer/percussionist playing live, studio, television and radio performances and he has spent a number of years traveling the world performing on cruise ships.

As a student, Max has studied with the following recognized drummers; Al Cross, Kevin Ball, Don Vickery, Roger Flock, Rick Lazar, Steve Heathcote, Paul Delong, Enrique Pla (drummer of Irakere), Jose Sanchez (percussionist with Amanda Marshall), Ben Perowsky, Brad Flickinger (drummer for ¨The Producers¨ L.A. production), Fredric Kwasi Dunyo (master drummer from West Africa), Ted Warren, and most recently Mark Kelso.
